Brian qualified as a solicitor in 1980 and joined the Firm in 2003 as a partner in the Commercial Property Department.
Immediately prior to joining the firm Brian had been a partner with Golds for over 13 years and has enormous experience in a range of varying commercial property transactions with particular emphasis on commercial leasing for both landlords and tenants, investment acquisition, commercial lending, sales and purchases including acquisition and disposal of licensed premises and businesses.
In relation to the licensed trade he has acted in the past for certain brewers, Big Beat Group Limited (who prior to their demise were one of the largest independent operators of bars, restaurants and nightclubs in the country) and he continues to act for a number of independent licensed trade operators in the Glasgow area.
Brian also has experience in dealing with construction aspects of property developments, including advising on letters of appointment, collateral warranties and building contracts.
Married with 3 children, Brian’s hobbies are golf, music, food and football but not necessarily in that order.
