Joel joined the firm in 2004 as an Associate in our Litigation Department, having qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and was assumed as a partner in January 2006.
Having worked both in the public and private sector, and in Edinburgh dealing with Court of Session litigation, he now specialises in commercial litigation with particular expertise in factoring and finance leasing and all aspects of contract disputes. He also has a special interest in providing advice on negligence claims of all kinds, both to pursuers and defenders.
Joel is a director of the Ethnic Minorities Law Centre. He lives in Glasgow and his main hobbies include black and white photography and cinema. He tells people he supports Partick Thistle FC.
